Amy Eigenberg

Amy has been an outpatient therapist since 2005. She holds a Masters of Education in
Community Counseling from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. She also completed a Sexual Offender Treatment Specialist Certification Program at the University of Ohio in 2006. Amy is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and a Masters Addictions Counselor. Amy is on the Registered Provider list, which allows her to provide substance abuse, mental health, and sexual offense counseling for adolescents and adults within the criminal justice system. She is also able to provide services for substance abuse evaluations, co-occurring evaluations, youth who sexually harm, and sexual offense risk assessments.
Amy has over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. Prior to becoming a licensed therapist, Amy worked in group homes and residential treatment centers with youth who have experienced abuse, neglect, and behavioral issues. Amy has worked with clients of all ages including children, adolescents, college students, and the elderly. She specializes in behavioral disorders in adolescents, sexual offense specific therapy, drug/alcohol evaluations and treatment, trauma, infertility, and depression/anxiety disorders. Amy utilizes Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy approaches using a strength based approach. Amy is married to Matt and they have a daughter. They also do foster care, which keeps them busy in their free time. They also have 2 dogs that keep them entertained.
